Introduction

The VNH FOUNDATION is a charitable organization based in Zurich, Switzerland that supports disadvantaged children and young adults in Vietnam and to a lesser extent, its neighboring countries. Formed as a result of a perceived social responsibility towards the people of Vietnam, the foundation is the creation of Juerg Vontobel and VIETNAM HOLDING ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD. (VNHAM), a strategic investment company investing in the privatization of Vietnamese state owned companies.

Objectives

Identifying worthy projects, and structuring the donations so that 100% of the funds allocated by the VNH FOUNDATION and its partner organizations will benefit the targeted recipients.

Following projects’ progress pro-actively and report observations periodically to the foundation’s board.Locating other donors with objectives congruent to those of the VNH FOUNDATION.

Submitting projects for co-sponsorship, coordinating the funding and project supervision and providing periodic reports.

Involving the staff of VNHAM in their private capacity and on their own free time in philanthropic projects sponsored by the VNH FOUNDATION.
